Chad Schwartz is an Assistant Professor in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design at Kansas State University. For the past fifteen years, he has taught design studio at both the undergraduate and graduate level along with building construction and technology. His research centers on investigations of the tectonic in contemporary architecture and on the development of curricular strategies and pedagogy for integrating the teaching of design and construction. His first book, Introducing Architectural Tectonics: Exploring the Intersection of Design and Construction, was released in November of 2016 by Routledge.
