At the conclusion of this semester of ARC351 Design III, this studio of third year architecture students was asked to select a segment of their primary design project – a library for the blind – to investigate in more depth. This section was carefully examined to better understand structure, systems, finishes, and the like. In addition, the students were asked to select one detail or element to build at full scale. Below are two examples of the work generated through this process including the final presentation boards and images of the final built constructions.
